Fulton welcomes attendees to the Elizabeth Seton lecture series and introducing Dr. William Shannon from 00:00:31 to 00:03:30. Dr. Jacques Goulet mentions the sponsors (Sisters of Charity) and invites Sister Anne Fleming, Superior of the Halifax Province of the Sisters of Charity from 00:03:30 to 00:04:00. From 00:04:10 to 00:07:14 Sister Anne Fleming speaks about the Elizabeth Seton lecture and its establishment. Dr. Jacques Goulet introduces Dr. William Shannon and his lecture from 00:07:15 to 00:16:29. From 00:16:40 to 00:46:16 Dr. William Shannon lectures on Thomas Merton, technology and Christianity which continues on Side B from 00:00:00 to 00:28:26.
