This recording contains the president's remarks, given by University President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sheila A. Brown as well as the presentation of certificates and diplomas and the conferring of academic degrees. This recording also contains the conferring of honourary degree recipients Dorothy E. Smith and Anne. S. Derrick, both awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters. Anne S. Derrick gave the address to the students and formal closing was given by University Chancellor, Mary Louise Brink. Various awards presented to; Wendy Cook, M.Ed (President's Prize).
