This recording is a one track recording of a short speakers series from the Continuing Education Department. Content for Track A begins at 00:20:18 (00:00:00 to 00:20:18 includes chatter). From 00:20:18 to 00:22:37 an unnamed woman introduces the session which is three 5 minute speakers, discussion and a ten 10 talk from Sister Mary Agnes. Sister Brenda Halton, Chairman of the Business Department at Mount Saint Vincent University moderates the sessions. From 00:23:08 to 00:28:43 Ruth Draper, a continuing education student speaks about returning to school. From 00:29:09 to 00:33:05 Paul Steelen [sp?] with New Horizons program discusses the program which provides grants to retired people which is anyone who is not in the work force. Journalism Seymour Hamilton discusses his research on senior citizen organizations from 00:33:40 to 00:41:29. From 00:41:50 to 00:54:33 panelists took comments and questions. Sister Mary Agnes speaks on welcoming retirement from 00:54:46 to 01:06:22. The session completes at 01:08:47. The recording continues to 01:31:30 but is unintelligible chatter.
